Anti-Fantasy Vs Anti-Mystery...

If we notice the story, the story revolves around the belief of the golden witch and later on they suspect that the witch was cause of all the killings. but the only one that disbelieve is Battler. that's how the story goes. the theme of the "game" was to give a real truth behind the murders and deny the witch.

so what is Anti-Fantasy?
let me say this, do you believe in magic,witches, even Santa Clause?

if you don't... I'll welcome you in the world of Anti-Fantasy...
that's how Battler perceive the world. he defy the existence of the witch and pin point the murders were done by a human and no magic was involve.

how about Anti-Mystery?

In Umineko the word mystery don't pin point at the general mystery but in authentic mystery in literature. In mystery novel, the author presents a world with puzzle, this puzzle is what the readers need to solve. In a authentic mystery novel, all the cases and puzzles were can be solve even if is difficulty. because an authentic mystery is meant to be solved. for example in Ace attorney series, all the crime are can be solve even if is difficult.
but the only problem is if the problem or the puzzle end up in last queen problem or lack of farther evidence. what's called the "last queen problem. what is this last queen problem? let me put it in a simple way. in Jigzaw puzzle, if you end up in a missing piece that is the last queen problem. You cannot continue because there is no more evidence and you end up in devil's proof.
this what Beatrice trying to do, by claiming the murders were done by magic, the crime were became vague to solve. This is the irony of the mystery, the mystery denies it self. this is the Anti-mystery...
but...how about the General mystery?
